Kin’s established the Kin’s Excellence Award in Food Science with the University of British Columbia Endowment Fund. Every year a $1,650 scholarship award will be made available to a graduate student pursuing his/her M.Sc or Ph.D. in Food Science with a focus on food safety, an extended shelf life of produce, or produce and human health, in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems.
